Follow up: V-Day as Hookah D-Day
The V-Day party was a hit, here is what we learned…
It took us a while to get the pictures developed, but we indeed were at the 660 Loft in Jersey City to ring in another year of sharing the love.
In the picture to the left is the newest member of the HoboHookah team, Dangerous Dave. Him and long-time Hobo Michael Evan Williams were scoping out the dance floor and waiting to make a move.
The hookah is the HoboHookah atop the fabled 3L display bottle of Van Gogh Vodka. This is the premier party setup, especially while rocking Tangiers’ Peach Iced Tea hookah tobacco in the grande phunnel bowl. It was glorious and lasted from tip-off to smokey cab ride back to the HQ.
So what did we learn? Well, that there are a lot of characters in Jersey City and, while the vibe may seem Brooklyn, that doesn’t mean everything translates. Also, that wherever you go, its always a good idea to have a flask on the hip, for either the long wait for the bar or walk home from the scene. The sunrise was witnessed, just to give you an idea of the depth of the night.
