Review: Harvard Square Au Bon Pain
For an urban setting, nothing beats Harvard Square for just chilling out. The area is beautiful, the people are vibrant and there is always some activity going on, even in these dog days of summer.
Located next to the Harvard Square T stop, the Au Bon Pain serves up the regular cafe grub. Sandwich, chips and a drink will set you back about $10, which is little steep for a a self-serve joint, but the patio is definitely worth it.
The ABP patio, isn’t just for ABP customers, its actually a public space for anyone looking to kick it for a bit. The great thing about this location, is that it is at the center of it all. When I was there, there was a couple guys with acoustic guitars, who played Bob Dylan covers for over 3 hours. Awesome.
In the end, if you are strolling through Boston, the Harvard Square Au Bon Pain is a great place to lighten your load and light up the HoboHookah and take it all in. Your in Boston baby, let’s go find another bahr.
