What the Election and Hookahs Have in Common

Regardless of your political leanings, I think we can agree on this. Yesterday, the president that won the election won based on messages of unity and togetherness, rather than appealing to fear and security.

People are tribal. We unify around ideas and strive to be party of something “bigger” than us. We like companion animals. We like unity and togetherness.

And that, I think, is part of the appeal to hookahs. They help us meet new people, make it easy to find other chill, down to earth but ready to party adventurers out there on the road or on the town.

Maybe a few of our world leaders should get together for some shisha? For some reason, I can’t see any bad coming from a meeting around a voluptuous cappuccino bowl with a little coffee in the chamber.
